Terror Films To Re-Release The Taking Of Deborah Logan 2

Thanks to a new deal with Terror Films, fans of The Taking of Deborah Logan will be able to find the film on a variety of digital services.

It was recently announced that Deborah Logan would be making its debut on Shudder later this month. Terror Films will take the film to many more streaming services in the coming weeks, including iTunes, Amazon, Roku, VUDU, TUBI TV, and Google Play, though they have not issued specific dates for those platforms as of yet.

“My partner Jim Klock, myself and our entire team are thrilled to have been trusted by the producers to reintroduce The Taking of Deborah Logan to the horror fans,” Terror Films president Joe Dain said in a press release. “It’s a fantastic film that we believe will be incredibly well received by the horror community and beyond.”

In the U.S., Deborah Logan only received distribution on Netflix lasting until 2016, and since that time it’s become more and more difficult to find a copy of the film. Thanks to the new deal with Terror Films, however, fans will be seeing a lot more of it in the future.

Written by Adam Robitel and Gavin Heffernan with Robitel also serving as director, The Taking of Deborah Logan concerns a medical student making a documentary about the long term effects of Alzheimer’s on both the patient and the caregivers. She and her crew find much more than they bargained for when they enter the home of Deborah Logan, however, and what starts out as a typical case study soon turns to terror as they discover that Alzheimer’s might be the least of this family’s concerns.

The Taking of Deborah Logan will begin distribution on a wide variety of digital services at some point in the near future. Until then, you can check Terror Films’ website for info, and stay tuned to CGMagazine for further news.
